LEHMANN is the brand new project of Mat Lehmann (Blaze Bayley, Neurasthenia), formed in 2012. After long experience with Blaze Bayley, Lehmann decided to create his own project, where’s the singer and mastermind and where he’s going to be accompanied by session musicians.
Over the course of four months, Lehmann wrote the band’s debut album “Lehmanized” and recorded every instrument except the drums, which were recorded by Claudio Tirincanti (Blaze Bayley, Tim Ripper Owens) and Rick Perugini (also session musician for Neurasthenia). Mat Lehmann also produced, mixed and mastered the debut.
In 2013, guitarist Ivan Demichev joined the band’s lineup as first permanent band member, besides Lehmann of course.
Ivan and Mat also wrote the brand new single “The Reddish Planet” together.
“Lehmanized” has already been released in Russia via Fono Ltd. Records and will now be released worldwide via Massacre Records.
Last year, LEHMANN already toured in Europe and Russia. The first dates of LEHMANN’s “The Reddish Planet Russian Tour 2014″ are:
